研究内容・研究課題

My research focuses on how native Japanese speakers acquire the phonetics and phonology of English as a second language, including both production (i.e., speaking) and perception (i.e., listening). In recent years, I have been focusing on Japanese-English bilingual speech corpora for production studies and on distinctive features for perception studies.
